Our jewelry is hand crafted exclusively from sea glass and broken ceramic or pottery pieces  (and occasionally from coral reef fragments and shells) collected on the beaches of Japan, primarily in the Shonan area and Okinawa.

Each product captures the purity of the sea, preserving the natural shapes of fragments as they are found. Each piece is one of a kind and doesn't exist anywhere twice.

We don’t cut or alter them, ensuring each piece is authentically "made by the sea"

They are shaped over years of tumbling in salt water, sun, and wind. Some fragments may be just a few decades old, while others, possibly from the Edo Period, have traveled across entire oceans before finding their way to the shore. Sometimes we can imagine them telling us stories through their patterns and shapes. The ceramic or pottery fragments stem probably from old bowls and vessels and many hold beautiful pattern.

Additionally we apply the traditional kintsugi technique to mend the pieces together. For that purpose we use 24K real gold flakes.

The golden jewelry wire we use for wrapping and framing is of durable material, sealed with special nano coating, ensuring it's durability & longevity. It is water, scratch & abrasion resistant and with proper care will last you a very long time.  

Each necklace is sent to you in a beautiful white padded jewelry box, where your necklace can be stored and displayed. It also makes a beautiful and special gift! Each necklace comes with a microfiber cloth to maintain its beauty and shine. Care advise is also included in each jewelry box.
